Parts and glass
Gaskets, ceramic glass, baffle plates and grates for the brands we carry, usually in stock. Cracked glass is a same-week job.
Draught problems
Smoke in the room or a fire that will not draw. We measure the flue and the room's air supply rather than guessing at the appliance.
Service agreements
A scheduled annual visit with a fixed price and priority booking ahead of the autumn rush. Available for private homes and for hotels, restaurants and cabin operators.
Second-hand appliances
Buying a house with an unknown stove in it? We inspect it, confirm whether it is clean-burn and whether the installation was ever reported, and tell you where you stand.
Removal and replacement
Old appliance out, new one in, correctly disposed of and re-reported. Removing a fireplace is also a notifiable change — people rarely know that.

Chimney sweeping and statutory inspection in Norway are carried out by the municipal fire service, on a cycle they set based on how you use the fire. That is their job, not ours, and anyone offering to replace it should be treated with suspicion.
What we do is everything the sweep will not: the appliance itself, its parts, its seals and its performance. The two together keep a fireplace safe.
