Who is responsible
Ildverk AS, Org.nr 000 000 000, Innherredsveien 00, 7042 Trondheim, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: hello@ildverk.no.
What we collect
- Enquiry data — name, telephone number, email address, postcode, property type and anything you write in the message field.
- Quiz answers — the four choices you make in the fireplace selector, submitted together with your contact details.
- Technical data — if you have consented to analytics cookies, aggregated information about pages visited and device type.
Why we process it
Enquiry data is processed in order to respond to your request and, if you proceed, to carry out the work — that is, on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and thereafter for the performance of that contract. Analytics data is processed on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project: 12 months.
- Project records, including installation certificates and notifications: 10 years, as documentation of the work.
- Accounting records: as required by Norwegian bookkeeping legislation.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are handled by our form processor and our email provider, both acting as data processors under agreement. We use appliance manufacturers only where a warranty claim requires it. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
Where a project requires it, we submit installation notifications to your municipality's fire service. That is a legal requirement relating to the installation itself.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, request restriction, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to hello@ildverk.no and we will respond within 30 days.
If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, you may lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to the employees who need it in order to answer you.
